Why novelty peds work so well for events and streams

Not every character needs to be realistic. Some of the most memorable moments on a server come from characters that are deliberately over the top, and a rainbow Franklin is exactly that kind of character.

Novelty peds are perfect for server events, celebrations, giveaways and stream content. They give viewers something to clip and share, and they make an event feel special instead of just another night in the city.

Because the ped is based on a character everyone already knows, the joke lands instantly. Players recognise Franklin, then notice the colours, and that moment of surprise is what makes these peds fun.

Events with novelty peds work best with a theme. A colour run, a pride celebration or a server birthday all give a reason for bright characters to appear.

Streamers love these moments too, because unexpected characters create reactions from chat and clips that get shared after the stream ends.
